Nestled in the serene countryside of Cumbria, UK, Fingland Pet Hotel is more than just a dog and cat boarding facility—it's a labor of love run by husband-and-wife duo Anne and Ian Morton-Woods.
Before they became pet-care pros, Anne and Ian worked in education, but their hearts were always set on animals. “We have always wanted to own a pet boarding business,” they shared. So when the opportunity arose to take over a facility that originally opened back in the 1970s (under a different name), they leapt at the chance. They rebranded it to Fingland Pet Hotel and set out to redefine how pet care should be done—intentionally, personally, and joyfully.
Their favorite part of the job? “Being with the pets and getting to know them and what makes them happy,” Anne says. But as the business grew, their time with the animals began to dwindle. “We were spending so much time booking customers and dealing with emails… we just had to do something better than the paper-based system we had at the time.” That’s when they discovered Revelation Pets.
And it’s not just about convenience—it’s about confidence. Anne recalls one particularly tricky situation: “A client arrived with his dog totally unexpected, thinking he was booked in.
